Mexico
What about Mexico?
From Cancun to Riviera Maya, Baja to the Pacific Coast, Mexico is a never-ending treasure trove of travel memories waiting to happen. It's border to the north is with the US. Mexico has orange sunsets that take your breath away, purple mountain majesties that tumble to the sea and turquoise sand kissed by sugar-white sand.
Flying into Cancun from most destinations is generally painless because it’s a hub, where you can then take off and travel to lots of beaches in Mexico: Riviera Cancun, Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen and Tulum are the big areas to hit. You can also fly into Cabo and enjoy the beauty of the mountains and the Sea of Cortez, but there are not many swimmable beaches there. However, just a simple walk down the beach, barefoot on the sand, with the mountains in the distance is magical.

Cancun is recognized throughout the world for its spectacular white sand beaches and its fascinating sea in turquoise blue tones. With unique natural places, Mayan culture, water activities and adventure. Located just south of Cancun along Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, Riviera Maya is famous for its sparkling beaches, high-end resorts and Mayan sites. Choose from a range of top-rated resorts along the coast featuring convenient amenities for guests of all ages and travel styles, be it a romantic getaway for two or a fun-filled family reunion. The famous Mayan site of Tulum is just a short day excursion away, where you can learn all about the fascinating Mayan culture on a tour of the breathtaking ruins overlooking the Caribbean Sea

What is the best time of year to have a Destination Wedding Mexico?
If your goal is to have the picturesque beach wedding with clear blue skies, even clearer turquoise water, and white sandy beaches, the best time to go would be between November and April, when there is not much rain.
The legal paperwork: In order to get married in Mexico some states require divorcees to have been fully divorced for at least one year prior to the ceremony. In some places restrictions on divorcees are tighter on the bride than the groom.
Some states require blood tests and chest x-rays, which also need to be completed in Mexico. This requirement does not go for all Mexican states, but where applied is enforced strictly.
Four witnesses need to be present at the ceremony, and they also need to bring valid identification, such as a passport.
The following documents need to be presented/completed by the couple (translated into Spanish, notarized by your Mexican consulate and legalized in your own country):
Passports, valid for at least six months after arrival.
Tourist Permit.
Birth certificates.
Divorcee decree (if applicable).
Marriage application forms for the local registry office.
Most couples decide to hold a symbolic celebration abroad in lieu of a legal ceremony in your destination. Symbolic ceremonies allow you to exchange vows in paradise and take care of the legal formalities at home (either before or after your trip).
Budget :
You would expect to pay between $1500-$2500 per person for 7 nights including accommodation, food, flights, transfers and taxes for an average resort, not over holiday periods.
